I tried to remove something from a photo, but it didn't work good. Any idea why it messed up? Thanks in advance!

On my laptop with an Intel i7-1260P processor and 16 GB RAM, it is now Super Select AI unusable. Super Select AI works only occasionally and sometimes instead of selecting an object, it just shows a frame with a white border. If I manage to select an object, then it is not possible to apply adjustments. Restarting the whole application sometimes helps.

I am getting more confident because of your tutorials. Can you update your recommendations for print settings soon in a video? For those who like to print our own , do sublimation, or send our to photo print houses?

Coming from PhotoRaw2023, this version seems to have nerfed the preset text function in 2024.5.

I only wish I had the success others have….i guess I have an OLD MAC (2019) and the 2024 just has not worked for me at all…Every update had me hoping it would improve and today I finally decided the crashes were just too many to persist. I contacted ON1 and they said my Mac Intel processor was old and would not work on this system as well as the newer Intel processors…they suggested I go back to the last version of 2024 but it really wasn’t that good either…..I decided my ancient 2019 Mac would be better suited for the 2023 version….a shame that ON1 wouldn’t refund me……Oh well I have a new Fuji XT5 and with the AMAZING jpegs I really don’t need to rely on editing too much….Shame about the ON1 Customer Service!!

Does anyone know if on1 works well with Fujifilm files ?

I downloaded the update and on my old and slow computer ON1 runs much faster. A lot faster.

From what I've seen it's great, it's just a shame it isn't compatible with intel arc.

Okay guys but why you don't have a lens profile for RF-S 18-45mm IS STM (kit lens for Canon R10, R50, R100) ???

I love ON1, but my computer can't run it. ON1 uses to much power, I have 8 gig memory and my computer just stalls out on me.

I can't get the super select to work with wondows 11. I just get a square of any size with a + sign. As usual, am I the only to have this problem?

This worked for me except none of the edits/stars/selections etc were carried over. Is there a way to preserve those?

Well, I downloaded the update today, restarted the computer, and started to check the new "super" features. The new AI super select did absolutely nothing - not even highlight segments of the photograph. All I got as I tapped on areas of the photograph were what appeared to be "boxes". I didn't even have the strength to play with it. I shut it down and walked away. Talk about a super letdown after all the anticipation. I have purchased this product year after year and this was just a magnificent disappointment.

I'm a new customer who is working to learn the program after decades with Adobe. One thing that impresses me is your follow up communication, such as the PDF manual and this update. I've not received such follow up from another company that also makes a Photoshop RAW alternative.

ON1 2024.5 The Super select AI function first analyses the image for a few seconds and creates a halo around the edge when contrasting boundaries are clear. This prevents the rest of the image from being edited correctly. The Super Select function itself works similarly, but worse than the selection in Pixelmator Pro from a few years ago. Photomator Select Background immediately detects edges and creates a clear selection boundary. I think you still have a lot of work ahead of you

I've just updated to the new version and the selection is such a massive improvement. However I have one question, if when using super select I select an area in error is there a way to delete this area from the selection before creating the mask. Thank you.

Why not show "Generate Subfolders"? Its like the most important setting, I want it to set up automatic subfolders

Does this new version (2024.5) still work with the "sky exchange" or do you have to buy it separately?

Wish you showed how to bring in two or more images at thee start. I used to drag two image onto the On1 icon and it placed it. Does not work now. Hope you add this feature with 2024.5

A very interesting edit, worked well Watched a few times but somehow missed how you appliedthe mask for the shadows along the side of the road, looked like some sort of line mask, as it looked like you only used the brush at both ends. Could you explain that bit? Same for the reflections Like everyone else really looking forward to this update

How do you clean up a mask that was created with the super select tool ?

I gave 2024.3raw a go but sadly I don't think it's quite there yet. Won't be switching from Lightroom just yet. The NonoiseAI is better than LR. The super select tool needs some work. All the best in the future.

this is exactly what I was wanting in an all in one editing software. I hope the outline continues to get more accurate but at the same time I hope this doesn’t just become another Ai app going overboard

I would like to see how it masks human hair when there is some complicated background behind the object. Masking human hair is where I struggle most when editing photos.

Looks wonderful, only hope the improved SSAi tool is true to the Sneak Peak video's that we see, unlike previous Masking/Refine brushing that has been a tad misleading in practice...

Looks good, so far I have not been able to select say spider legs in my close up shots. I guess the the tonal difference between the little legs and their background may have an influence But it is god ON1 is looking to improove this aspect of the program Really looking forward to trying this release, like everyone else. Like they say patience grasshopper
